Do you ever feel like you’re the only one struggling with that “weird shame” you have? You know, the one that no one else seems to ever talk about or struggle with?
I have felt alone in many of my weird shames until I came across a girl on Instagram. Olivia Alnes. Olivia and I connected and quickly found out that we have a lot more in common than initially thought.
We found commonalities in our mission to help women step into who they were made to be and I fell in love with one of the ways she’s doing that now. Olivia reached out to me through a DM and told me all about her movement No Shame November.
What started as a joke in college quickly turned into a stirring in her heart to truly help women break free from shame so that they could become the humans they were created to be.
In this episode we dig into some our own insecurities that we’ve felt with shame and the different ways we can break free from shame in our daily lives.
One of my favorite tips Olivia shares in this episode is to practice truth and lie journaling. The way she explains it in our conversation sounds like something I want to start implementing immediately.
We would love if you would share this episode with a friend to keep shining light on the truth of our worth and so that we can see more and more members of our community break free from shame.
